This may look familiar to some. It's the train that I was commissioned to paint way back when during my sophomore year in high school. It was created for a family reunion that really revolved around the great grandfather's career with steam engines.
A year or two later the family donated the picture to Cass Railroad State Park (West Virginia) in memory of the great grandfather. It's been there for about a year and I have juts now been able to take the trip to see it. It's hanging in the Cass Railroad St. Park Restaurant. oh and here's a link to another pic of it WITH me signing it....yes.....a historic moment indeed. --> [link] |
